Palace close to signing Khalaili from Union SG

Crystal Palace is on the verge of signing Anan Khalaili from Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise, according to reports. The 21-year-old right midfielder is expected to finalize his move to the Eagles in the upcoming week. Anan's potential transfer fee is estimated to be around £21 million. Last season, Khalaili played 52 matches in all competitions for Union SG, contributing with six goals and six assists.

The Israeli international played in the Champions League and will bring valuable European experience to the Eagles as they prepare for their Europa League campaign. In addition to Khalaili, Palace have recently secured defenders Takehiro Tomiyasu and Oscar Mingueza on free transfers. The club is also rumored to be closing in on 19-year-old Real Salt Lake winger Zavier Gozo, while Brennan Johnson is set to join Everton in a swap deal for Dwight McNeil.
