Pace of enemy's offensive returns to spring indicators over week – DeepState

The Russian occupiers expanded their territory in Ukrainian regions by 42.59 square kilometres last week, marking a significant increase of over six times compared to the previous week, and surpassing the pace seen in previous months. This advancement aligns with the enemy's progress observed in March and April, according to OSINT project maps.

Last week's most substantial gains were made in the Dobropillia direction of the Donetsk region, where the occupiers seized 22.69 square kilometres, primarily in unpopulated areas. This week saw the enemy capturing 13.83 square kilometres, a marked increase from the 1.94 square kilometres taken in Huliapole direction in Zaporizhia region and 0.98 square kilometres in Sumy, where no advance was recorded the week prior.

The enemy also captured 3.15 square meters in Pivdenno-Slobozhanske direction. While no changes were noted in other front areas, the penetration zone expanded slightly in Sumy and Kostiantynivka directions, with approximately two-thirds of Kostiantynivka now classified as a grey zone under the defense forces' control. The occupied areas predominantly include the eastern, southern, and southwestern suburbs of Kostiantynivka.

Overall, the occupation area expanded by an average of 6.1 square meters daily last week, with the penetration zone growing at 0.9 square meters. Last week's average daily occupation growth was 1 square meter, a trend that has been rising since the end of 2025, fluctuating between 8-14 square meters daily, before declining in mid-January 2026 and resuming a gradual displacement of the enemy in Oleksandrivka direction, similar to previous successes in May and July.
