Osun Guber: Atiku, other party bigwigs storm Osogbo, pull mammoth crowd

Presidential contender from the African Democratic Congress, Atiku Abubakar, along with a group of political allies, journeyed to Osogbo, the capital city of Osun State, on Monday to drum up support for their gubernatorial candidate, Dr Najeem Folasayo Salaam. According to the DAILY POST, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled a gubernatorial election in Osun State for the following Saturday.

The ADC concluded their campaign with a massive rally, drawing a large crowd of supporters and giving their candidate confidence for success. Atiku, who shared photos from the rally on his official X account shortly after, urged eligible voters in Osun State to have faith in the ADC. He stated, "We are here to rally support for our candidate and make a final appeal to the people of Osun State to entrust the ADC with the responsibility of delivering purposeful leadership, good governance and a better future for all."

However, DAILY POST highlights that Dr Ademola Adeleke from the Accord Party and Bola Oyebamiji from the All Progressives Congress (APC) are the primary opponents.
