New Chinese Language and Culture Course Launched in Islamabad

A novel experimental Chinese language and culture course has been introduced in Islamabad, aimed at enhancing cultural ties between Pakistan and China. The opening ceremony, named "The Language of the Eastern Silk Road," saw Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Aurangzeb Khan Khichi preside as the distinguished guest of honor.

Approximately 50 Pakistani and Chinese participants are enrolled in the program, which immerses learners in Chinese language proficiency, calligraphy, traditional festivals, and other facets of Chinese culture.

Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Aurangzeb Khan Khichi addressed the ceremony, emphasizing that cultural and language exchanges are vital in fortifying Pakistan-China relations. He articulated that language serves as a bridge between civilizations, fostering enduring trust between nations. The minister further revealed that the program will serve as a long-term platform for cultural exchange among young people and urged participants to become advocates of Pakistan-China friendship through deeper knowledge of Chinese language and culture.

Khan Khichi highlighted the profound bond between the two countries, comparing Pakistan-China friendship to "higher than the mountains, deeper than the oceans and sweeter than honey." The inauguration of this course signifies a significant step towards nurturing cultural understanding and cooperation between Pakistan and China.
