Nashik: Youth Must Embrace Technology While Staying Rooted In Heritage, Says Governor Jishnu Dev Varma

Nashik Governor Jishnu Dev Varma urged the youth to embrace modern technology while staying connected to their heritage, speaking at the Chaturveda Sammelan and National Veda Shastra Awards ceremony. He advocated for a blend of modern science, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies with ancient knowledge traditions. The Governor commended the Maharshi Gautam Godavari Veda Vidya Pratishthan for preserving and promoting the Vedic tradition, emphasizing their role in connecting the younger generation to their roots.

He proposed collaborations between the Pratishthan and universities across the state. Nashik, recognized as a significant center of India's spiritual, cultural, and knowledge traditions, would emerge as a national hub for Vedic and Sanskrit studies, the Governor expressed confidence. The Vedas, he stressed, can serve as a source of strength for the future if preserved, researched, and disseminated among the youth through accessible and modern means.

The establishment of a Central Sanskrit University campus in Nashik was hailed as a state pride, encouraging students, researchers, and practitioners to utilize this center. The Governor stressed the importance of introducing students to the Vedas and Indian knowledge traditions, ensuring they remain connected to their cultural roots despite embracing modernity.
