‘Mindless creature’ – El-Buba tackles Sheikh Jingir for calling Christians ‘infidels’

The General Overseer of El-Buba Outreach Ministries, Prophet Isa El-Buba, has criticized Islamic cleric Sheikh Yahya Jingir for describing Christians as "infidels." Jingir made these remarks in a video that has gone viral on social media, stating that anyone who does not wish to support a Muslim-only ticket should leave Nigeria, referring to Christians as "infidels."

El-Buba responded by accusing the cleric of exacerbating religious divisions during a time when northern Nigeria is facing numerous challenges, including insecurity, poverty, banditry, drug abuse, criminality, and the displacement of communities. He emphasized that religious and political leaders should work together to unite Nigerians and find solutions to the country's problems rather than making statements that could further fuel religious tensions.

El-Buba expressed his concern as a serious and heavy-hearted individual, urging leaders, particularly as they age, to consider how Nigerians can coexist peacefully. He pointed out that Christians are facing issues like banditry, criminality, and drug addiction in the north, questioning the cleric's statement and demanding accountability for such remarks.
