Lebanese report rules out September negotiations with Israel

Co-op Academy Belle Vue in Manchester plans to reduce the compulsory branded items from seven to three, estimating an average cost drop from £101.94 to £53.97 per family. However, some schools, like those in London and Oxfordshire, still require more branded items, leaving parents frustrated about the inconsistency in expectations and costs.

Parents like Linda Ubawike from Manchester have already noticed a reduction in their uniform bills, while others remain unsatisfied with the lack of change in their children's schools. The new rules, imposed by the government, may not significantly impact most families' costs, according to a headteachers' union. Nonetheless, the education secretary retains the power to enforce compliance if necessary.
