EVAN's debut EP 'Death of Me' arrives Sept. 7

Solo artist EVAN, formerly recognized as Heeseung of the boy group ENHYPEN, is scheduled to launch his inaugural extended play, DEATH OF ME, on September 7, according to his agency Belift Lab. The forthcoming EP signifies his first return following the release of his solo digital single, Ride or Die, just two months prior. Belift Lab, a Hybe subsidiary responsible for managing ENHYPEN, disclosed that EVAN once more assumed full responsibility for the album's production from inception to completion.

Drawing upon the creative independence of his debut single, the new project encapsulates intimate introspections of his inner self combined with a resolute vision for his future, translating these personal themes into an intricate, diverse sonic landscape. EVAN parted ways with ENHYPEN in March to pursue a solitary artistic journey while maintaining affiliation with Belift Lab.

Under his childhood name, Lee Hee-seung, instead of his birth name, the musician adapted ENHYPEN into a six-member formation while concurrently crafting a unique solo persona. His initial solo venture, Ride or Die, demonstrated his global allure by topping iTunes Top Songs charts in nine countries.
