Dushara Vijayan cries recalling sister’s death: ‘She was paralysed, but inspired me to dance’

Dushara Vijayan, the Tamil film actress, recently reminisced about her deceased elder sister, shedding tears as she spoke about her condition. The 10-year gap since her sister's death weighed heavily on Dushara, as she admitted to feeling a profound sense of loss. Her sister, who suffered from a condition called myopathy, had been paralyzed from the neck down since birth and had inspired Dushara to take up dance at a young age.

Dushara recounted how her sister would often ask her to dance, even though her body remained immobile. The emotional tributes continued as Dushara expressed her desire to honor her sister's memory by looking at her photo whenever she went out, rather than praying to God.
