Beed Farmers Get Debt Relief As ₹90.75 Crore Credited To 13,110 Accounts

Beed district's Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Farmers’ Debt Relief Scheme-2026 has seen the direct crediting of ₹90.75 crore loan waiver funds to the bank accounts of 13,110 eligible farmers, according to an official statement. The funds were transferred to the accounts of farmers whose Aadhaar authentication was completed. The government has set aside a total of ₹711 crore for loan waivers in the district.

Many more farmers are expected to receive the benefit as the authentication process continues. Out of the ₹90.75 crore distributed, ₹70.01 crore, or ₹70,010,400, has gone to 9,283 farmers with loans at nationalised banks, while ₹20.24 crore, or ₹20,241,000, has been transferred to 3,827 farmers through the Beed District Central Co-operative Bank.

The list of 96,523 eligible farmers was announced on July 25, but Aadhaar authentication for 32,034 farmers on the list remains pending. Officials have advised farmers on the list who have not yet received the loan waiver amount to verify if their Aadhaar authentication is complete. Upon completion, the loan waiver will enable beneficiaries to apply for fresh crop loans for the ongoing kharif season.

Banks in Beed district have uploaded information on 2,27,128 loan accounts to the online portal, and district officials are urging the completion of Aadhaar authentication to ensure timely benefits for eligible farmers.
