Asterisk Talley Wins 2026 US Women’s Amateur At The Honors Course

Lancaster, Pennsylvania - On June 01, 2026, Asterisk Talley claimed victory at the 2026 U.S. Women's Amateur golf tournament held at The Honors Course. The match saw Talley defeat Japan’s Anna Iwanaga 8 and 6. Despite challenging weather conditions that caused delays over five consecutive days, Talley remained composed and won her first U.S. Women's Amateur title.

Talley, who entered the week as the 8th-ranked amateur, led early on the first hole, but Iwanaga kept her in check with a tie on the third hole and alternated leads throughout. Talley's momentum shifted when she birdied the 11th, 12th, and 13th holes, solidifying a two-hole lead. From there, she made eight more birdies before clinching the win on the 30th hole.

Talley's victory comes after previous disappointing finishes, including a third-round 75 at the Augusta National Women's Amateur earlier this year.
