Abu Dhabi and Dubai parking systems move closer to unified digital access

Q Mobility and Parkin, the leading parking operators in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to connect their digital parking ecosystems and develop a unified, secure parking experience for residents and visitors. The agreement aims to improve parking accessibility, manage occupancy and demand, and enhance service quality using digital tools such as artificial intelligence and data analytics.

The integration will focus on providing a seamless, digital payment system and unified parking access across Abu Dhabi and Dubai. By leveraging their combined expertise, the two companies plan to develop a roadmap for joint initiatives and pilot projects. This includes exploring new parking management technologies, improving the use of existing infrastructure, and strengthening long-term readiness of parking facilities.

Under the MoU, Q Mobility and Parkin will also exchange data and technical expertise, subject to data-protection regulations. The companies will assess the feasibility of new parking management technologies and work towards strengthening the long-term sustainability of parking facilities.

Mohamed Husain Karmastaji, CEO of Q Mobility, stated, "Through this MoU, we are establishing a framework to explore opportunities that enhance the parking experience, improve convenience for residents and visitors, and strengthen integration between our respective mobility ecosystems."
