A Vikings legend will be eligible for the Hall of Fame in 2027

Adrian Peterson, a legendary running back for the Minnesota Vikings, will be eligible for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2027. Peterson, an Oklahoma Sooner, was drafted by the Vikings in 2007 and quickly became one of the best players to ever suit up for the team. He is one of 23 Vikings players associated with the Hall of Fame, with the last player to enter Canton, Ohio, being Jared Allen in 2025.

Peterson's induction in 2027 will join a class of other notable players, including first-ballot selections Rob Gronkowski, Ben Roethlisberger, Richard Sherman, Cam Newton, Antonio Brown, Le Veon Bell, Andrew Whitworth, Alex Mack, Gerald McCoy, and Eric Weddle. While the Vikings never won a Super Bowl during Peterson's tenure, his legacy and impact on the team will be forever honored in the Hall of Fame.
