Wawasan lulus pindaan perlembagaan parti

The National Vision Party (Wawasan) held a special members' meeting in a hotel in Petaling Jaya on Friday, approving amendments to the party's constitution. Saifuddin Abdullah, the General Secretary of Wawasan, stated in a shared post on X that the constitutional amendments aimed to strengthen the party. The meeting approved a constitution comprising 29 articles, emphasizing the party's struggle vision to build a better Malaysia based on the New National Consensus, which has three main goals: shared objectives, shared prosperity, and humane governance.

The constitution also outlines the party's struggle goals, including building a diverse society that upholds the principles of the constitution and the Rukun Negara; generating national economic strength and competitiveness in a free and open economy; and forming a government that practices humane governance. Other amendments include the party's name, now known as Wawasan Negara, and its registered address at 15 Jalan Langgak Tunku, Bukit Tunku, Kuala Lumpur.

Wawasan is a rebranded version of the former Cinta Malaysia Party, which was taken over by former Bersatu deputy president Hamzah Zainudin. The party's establishment followed the "Reset" movement launched by Hamzah after he was expelled from Bersatu. Wawasan is a component of the National Unity Front.
