Wawasan lulus pindaan perlembagaan parti

The Special Meeting of Wawasan Negara Party (Wawasan) delegates, held at a hotel in Petaling Jaya on Friday, approved several constitutional amendments to strengthen the party. According to a statement released by the party's Chief Secretary, Saifuddin Abdullah on X, these amendments aim to reinforce the party's commitment. The special delegate meeting approved constitutional amendments containing 29 articles, based on the party's struggle philosophy focused on values and strong principles.

The amendments outline the party's vision for a better Malaysia under the New National Consensus, with three main goals: shared objectives, shared prosperity, and humane governance. The party's struggle agenda also includes building a cohesive society that upholds the principles of the Constitution and the Rukun Negara; fostering economic strength and national competitiveness in a free and open economy; and forming a government that follows humane governance principles.

Other amendments include changing the party's name to Parti Wawasan Negara or its short form, Wawasan Negara, and setting its registered address at 15 Jalan Langgak Tunku, Bukit Tunku, Kuala Lumpur. Wawasan is a rebranding of the former Parti Cinta Malaysia, following its takeover by former Bersatu deputy president Hamzah Zainudin. Wawasan is a component party of the Perikatan Nasional coalition.
