Washington football has an abundance of young talent at cornerback

The Washington Huskies' cornerback unit is set to undergo some changes for the 2026 season, with two standout prospects departing for the NFL. However, head coach Jedd Fisch is confident in the talent that remains, particularly in the form of projected starters Emmanuel Karnley and Dylan Robinson. Coach Fisch expressed his appreciation for Prysock's return, noting his growth and development since joining the program.

Amidst the departures, the Huskies have a promising group of young talent emerging at the cornerback position. Senior Emmanuel Karnley and freshman Dylan Robinson, both known for their height and athletic abilities, will lead the unit. However, around them, a trio of freshmen - Rahsjon Duncan, Jeron Jones, and Elijah Durr - will be battling for spots on the depth chart. Junior Elias Johnson and sophomore Ramonz Adams will also compete for playing time.

Coach Fisch emphasized the significance of having young players on the roster, stating that it allows defensive coordinator Ryan Walters to employ an aggressive, man coverage scheme.
