Turkey-Saudi-Pakistan alliance's geography boosts influence, analyst says

Political analyst Firas Radwan Oglu asserts that the geographic expanse of the Turkey-Saudi-Pakistan alliance confers it considerable regional sway. In an interview with Al Arabiya FM, Oglu elaborated that the alliance's geographical dimensions are highly significant, as it unites nations with expansive territories and considerable influence.

He noted that the agreement permits the possibility of additional countries joining the coalition in the future. Oglu further explained that assaults on Gulf states have escalated to an economic threat level, given the region's status as an economic powerhouse. This, he posited, prompted the establishment of a defensive alliance.

Oglu also observed that security and military pacts bolster economic interests, and that it serves Turkey's interest to curb occupation via the Islamic alliance. He further stated that the Palestinian predicament and support for its populace will feature on the agenda, and hinted at the prospect of numerous countries joining the alliance in the future.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz recently inaugurated the signing of the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement during a summit held in Mecca at Saudi Arabia's invitation.
