Sergio Gor's first visit to Keralam: From meeting CM Satheesan to enjoying houseboat cruise with Trump's son-in-law

US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor had a positive meeting with Keralam Chief Minister VD Satheesan in Kochi on Saturday. The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Biswanath Sinha and other senior officials. Gor expressed his admiration for Kerala's backwaters, describing it as "absolutely incredible" and encouraging people to visit the southern state.

He emphasized the potential for collaboration between India and the United States in higher education, technology, and port infrastructure. Gor also met with President Donald Trump's son-in-law, Michael Boulos, who visited Alappuzha to enjoy a houseboat cruise amidst heavy monsoon rains.
