Search operation fails to trace missing fisher from Kerala’s Neendakara

Reshma, the mother of missing fisherman Gautam Krishnan, expressed discontent with the initial search operations that failed to locate her son after his boat capsized off Neendakara in Kerala. The search, carried out over the weekend, involved a Navy ship, divers, a helicopter, and boats from the Marine Enforcement and Coastal Police.

The search teams covered various zones, including areas specified by Gautam's family, and utilized drone surveillance. Despite the intensified search efforts following Gautam's mother's complaints, the missing fisherman's body has not been found. Rough sea conditions on the day and following days of the incident further complicated the rescue operations.

The tragedy has also claimed the lives of Reshma's father, Rajeevan, and her husband, Radhakrishnan, who drowned when the boat capsized. Authorities have stated that the search will continue on Monday.
