Private schools must upload fee particulars on School Ed portal

The School Education Department in Telangana has mandated private school administrations to post their fee schedules and associated documentation on the department's online portal. The goal is to enforce adherence to the rules governing private unaided schools and monitor potential excessive fee increases over time. Director E. Naveen Nicolas has instructed Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers to notify private schools of their obligation to display the current academic year's fee rates.

The documentation submitted must include the deliberations leading to the fee decision, signed by governing board members. Failure to comply, whether by not posting the fee structure publicly or by not submitting the details on the portal, will result in showcause notices being issued. All comments on the matter must be written in English, in full sentences, and must be respectful and non-personal.
