PH Melaka looking at contesting other additional seats

PH Melaka is currently assessing the possibility of contesting extra seats in the upcoming State Election (PRN) in order to bolster its political presence. The party currently holds five DUN seats and is considering all 28 seats within the state to determine where it can increase its influence. PH Melaka chairman, Adly Zahari, stated that the party has identified three parliamentary constituencies - Alor Gajah, Kota Melaka, and Hang Tuah Jaya - where they believe they possess advantages and potential.

Additionally, there are other areas, such as Tangga Batu, Masjid Tanah, and Jasin, where the party did not secure victories and could be targeted for future contestation. Adly, who also serves as Deputy Minister of Defence, expressed optimism about the party's prospects, emphasizing that they have made significant efforts to serve the people and are awaiting the public's judgment.

The party remains open to exploring potential political collaborations with other parties, yet no negotiations have taken place thus far, including with BN Melaka Chairman, Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh. Any such discussions are contingent upon consensus among state PH representatives before proceeding.
