The protesters then moved to the platform and blocked the train from stopping at the station. As a result, the train, which was scheduled to stop at Yongsan Station at around 10:35 a.m., passed through the station without picking up or dropping off passengers. The train, which was headed to Incheon, departed from Seoul Station at 10:05 a.m. The Korea Disabled People's Association had previously announced that it would stage protests and demonstrations in various parts of the city, including Yongsan Station, on the 19th to demand that the government allocate more funds for the disabled.
