Luxe Radar: Curated Experiences Celebrating India’s Heritage

Saffronart presents a rare glimpse into India's history with its exhibition "Gandhi: From the Collection of Anand T Hingorani," featuring 86 valuable and private artifacts connected to Mahatma Gandhi. The archive spans an impressive two decades and is preserved within a single family for generations. Among the highlights are Gandhi's 688 autograph letters, his rosary and blessing letters, and a West End Watch Co.'s AFTAB pocket watch gifted to Hingorani.

On August 23, Bombay Brasserie will host a session titled "Monuments of India," led by authors Yashwant Pitkar, Yadneshwar Pathak and Prajakti Pai. The session explores India's iconic landmarks through the lens of architecture, memory and identity, drawing from the book "51+ Monuments of India." Christie's Mumbai will showcase 16 standout works by leading Indian modernists, including Francis Newton Souza, Maqbool Fida Husain, S. H. Raza, Ram Kumar, Jehangir Sabavala and Ganesh Pyne, at their Mumbai show from August 5-9, 2026.

These rare works, previously held privately, will be offered for auction for the first time. The Longevity Summit India 2026, presented by Le Florence at the Fairmont Mumbai, will bring together global thought leaders from science, healthcare, wellness, technology and luxury hospitality on August 15-16. Esteemed speakers like Dato Sri Dr. Mike Chan and Siim Land will discuss the future of living well, covering topics such as preventive health, biohacking and next-gen wellness with over 40 global speakers, clinicians and wellness experts.
