Kindiki vows to push for Mt Kenya unity regardless of the price to be paid

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has pledged to champion unity in the Mt Kenya region, indicating he is willing to endure any cost to keep the community intact. During a speech in Murang'a on August 9, 2026, Kindiki urged residents to unite and oppose political fragmentation. He emphasized that regional disagreements should not tear apart the shared identity of the Mt Kenya people.
