A woman has expressed concerns about the safety of women traveling in public spaces after alleging that a man secretly photographed her and a friend inside a Delhi Metro station. The incident took place at the Lok Nayak Bhawan Metro station in the evening as the two women traveled towards Green Park. The woman stated that they noticed a middle-aged man sitting nearby, who proceeded to take pictures of them without their knowledge or consent.

The situation escalated when the man continued staring at them even after realizing he had been noticed. The women decided to confront him, capturing the confrontation on camera. In the video, one of the women asked the man, "Photo li aapne hamari (Did you take our picture)?" The man then allegedly deleted the photographs on his phone, but the women later discovered them in the recycle bin.

Fellow commuters were present during the incident, and the woman claimed that another man sitting next to the accused noticed his actions but did not intervene until the women confronted him. The woman also addressed the issue of victim-blaming, emphasizing that women should not be responsible for someone else's decision to invade their privacy or behave inappropriately.

She stressed the importance of addressing the act of photographing someone without consent and the need for bystanders to speak up when they witness harassment or invasive behavior.
