Ferrari driver says road rage incident could have been avoided, urges attacker to think of family (video)

Ferrari driver Tiang How Soon, 40, has expressed regret over a road rage incident that occurred on the North-South Expressway (PLUS) and urged the alleged attacker to reflect on his actions. The incident, which involved no physical damage to the vehicles, has left his four-year-old child shaken and may have affected the driver's own child as well, according to Tiang.

The businessman, who was traveling with his family as part of a convoy, claims he was driving at around 120km/h when he attempted to change lanes to avoid a sudden stop ahead. Upon checking his side mirror, Tiang noticed the Perodua Aruz driver was still about two to three car lengths away. Despite explaining the situation to the driver, he became angry and began shouting abusive words.

Tiang tried to calm the situation by reassuring his passenger that they had changed lanes due to a sudden stop, but the driver's aggression escalated, leading to a physical confrontation. Tiang, speaking at a press conference at the DAPSY Selangor Public Complaints Bureau, emphasized that the incident could have been resolved through a conversation and urged the attacker to consider the consequences of his actions, particularly the impact on his own family.
