F’Eagles coach Maikaba eyes victory against Burkina Faso

Nigeria's Under-20 football team, the Flying Eagles, are set to face Burkina Faso in the final of the WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship. Coach Abdu Maikaba and defender Musa Wahab are confident in their team's prospects, having defeated Ivory Coast 4-3 on penalties in the semi-final. Burkina Faso reached the final by defeating Niger in a previous match.

This will be the second meeting between the two teams in this year's competition, with the Young Stallions, representing Burkina Faso, winning the first encounter 2-0 in group stage. Maikaba hopes his team can avenge their loss to Burkina Faso in the group stage and retake the WAFU Zone B title. The final will take place at the Stade Charles Konan Banny in Yamoussoukro on Sunday at 7pm.
