Iran's semi-official news agency Mehr News has released a video purportedly featuring Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, seemingly in good health, amid speculation about his well-being and whereabouts. Khamenei, who took on the role of Supreme Leader following his father's death in a joint US-Israeli military strike, has not made any public appearances since assuming office. He has primarily communicated via written statements, raising doubts about his health and ability to lead.

The video's release comes in response to Israeli media reports that Khamenei was in "extremely critical condition." Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian also indicated that direct contact with Khamenei was currently "very difficult," further fueling uncertainty.

While Iranian state officials have downplayed the severity of Khamenei's injuries, claiming they are superficial, they have maintained that he continues to play a significant role in decision-making. However, the lack of live public appearances and direct communication has led to ongoing speculation about his health and leadership capacity.
