Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei of Iran, once a shadowy figure behind the scenes, has now assumed one of the most powerful positions in the Islamic Republic following his father's death. In his capacity as Iran's new supreme leader, Khamenei has been issuing written messages but has yet to make a public appearance. His most recent communication warned the United States of "unforgettable lessons" if it continued attacking Iran, while dismissing President Donald Trump's signature as "worthless and invalid."

Khamenei's whereabouts remain uncertain, with conflicting reports regarding his health and safety. Israeli security sources claim that he is in critical condition and has been taken to a hospital in Tehran, though there is no independent confirmation. Israeli media reports suggest that Khamenei's messages are being drafted by other senior officials, including Ahmad Vahidi, the chief of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was reportedly met by a man introduced as Khamenei in a dark, tinted vehicle, raising questions about the secrecy surrounding Iran's new leadership.
