Belum bincang PRN Melaka, tetapi PN terbuka runding dengan BN

Pengerusi Perikatan Nasional Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar has stated that his faction remains open to discussions with Barisan Nasional (BN) regarding the PRN Melaka, including cooperation and seat swapping. However, as of now, there has been no formal conversation between their parties about the PRN Melaka. Nevertheless, he emphasized that there is room for dialogue due to the unconfirmed date of the PRN, and his faction is willing to engage in talks with BN, irrespective of whether it involves PN's leadership or Muafakat partners.

The timing of the Melaka general election remains unknown, thus opening ample space for discussion, both among PN's own leadership and in collaboration with Muafakat partners. The representative concluded his remarks at the closing of PAS Perak Convention Ke-23 in Taiping, Utusan Malaysia reported. Moreover, the talks should also consider greater interests, particularly ensuring the formation of a stable government following the general election.

Just recently, BN's Pengerusi Zahid Hamidi reiterated his faction's openness to discussions on the distribution of seats for PRN Melaka, including seat swapping, provided the total number of contested seats remains unchanged. Earlier, he had stated that BN intends to retain all 21 DUN seats they won in the 2021 PRN.
