Andhra CM calls for mass movement to make every citizen partner in nation building

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, has proposed a mass movement called the Partners in Nation Building program. This initiative aims to involve every citizen in the country's development and achieve the goals of Viksit Bharat and Swarna Andhra by 2047. Naidu announced the program's launch on August 15, marking 79 years of Indian Independence.

The program seeks to create awareness about the importance of contributing to the nation's progress and encourages citizens to set personal goals aligned with the 2047 vision. Naidu directed officials to ensure the national flag is hoisted at every home from August 13 to 15, fostering the feeling of "My Nation, Nation First" in households across the state.

To engage the youth and students, the program will create platforms for leadership in various fields, starting at the village level. Naidu also called for reviving the spirit of voluntary service in villages, stating that the Partners in Nation Building program should provide a space for such activities. The initiative aims to involve people as stakeholders in shaping the state's future, rather than merely benefiting from government welfare schemes.

Naidu emphasized the need to channel the ideas, energy, and capabilities of the youth towards nation building. Progress towards the 2047 goals will be reviewed and reported annually on August 15, with the ultimate goal of transforming the program into a mass movement involving citizens from all walks of life.
