5 dead in new Russian, Ukrainian strikes

Russian strikes on Saturday and Sunday claimed two lives and injured dozens across Ukraine, while a Ukrainian drone attack killed three people in Russia's Belgorod region, according to the latest reports. President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine highlighted this trend, stating that 61 missiles of various types had been launched at Ukraine this week. Zelensky also condemned another strike near a shopping center in Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region, where nine people were injured, including four children. In Russia, Ukrainian drone attacks killed three people in Belgorod, including a four-year-old and a nine-year-old child, with 25 people injured overall. Fires engulfed a car, two apartment buildings, and a house, according to a Russian governor. The Russian military announced the capture of two small villages in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region, though this claim remains unverified.
