TDP leader killed in Kurnool; Minister seeks stringent action

Telugu Desam Party leader Sheik Intiyaz Basha, 35, was allegedly killed in Kurnool on Thursday night after an altercation with friends. The police claim that Basha, who resides in Old Basthi, met friends when an argument erupted. One of the individuals involved allegedly threw a large stone, striking Basha on the head and causing his immediate death.

The body was transported to Government Medical College, Kurnool, for a post-mortem examination. Charges have been filed, and authorities are conducting an investigation. In response to the tragic incident, Minister for Industries T. G. Bharat Gupta expressed his shock and condemnation on Friday. He vowed that strict action would be taken against those responsible for Basha's murder, offering condolences to the bereaved family and assuring them of the party's support.
