Senior citizen focused healthcare initiative launched in Hyderabad

In Hyderabad, Care Hospitals and Aster Prime Hospitals have inaugurated a senior citizen-focused healthcare initiative named 'Pranaam'. This program is designed to enhance the access to personalized and continuous care for the elderly, focusing on continuity of care, emotional well-being, caregiver support, and healthy aging. It aims to simplify healthcare processes for older adults who often struggle with navigating hospital services, coordinating investigations, attending follow-up appointments, and managing chronic illnesses, especially those living alone or depending on caregivers.

The Telangana government, through initiatives like Pranaam, is actively working towards improving the lives of senior citizens. District Collector Priyanka Ala commended the government's efforts in implementing several measures for senior citizens and expressed her support in promoting this program across communities. Jubilee Hills MLA Naveen Yadav echoed similar sentiments, praising the government's genuine care for senior citizens and pledging his support in promoting the program.

Pranaam seeks to bridge the gap in healthcare services for the elderly by providing a comprehensive approach to their care needs. The program acknowledges the unique challenges faced by older adults in accessing and managing healthcare services.
