Railway Board approves daily Itarsi-Jabalpur passenger train: Check timings, route and stops

The Railway Board has recently approved a new daily passenger train service between Itarsi and Jabalpur, enhancing connectivity within the Jabalpur-Narmadapuram region. This new service, identified as train numbers 51673 and 51674, will be named Itarsi-Madan Mahal Passenger and provide travelers with improved access to key intermediate stations across central Madhya Pradesh. The train will operate daily, with specific departure and arrival times for both directions.

The train will cover a distance of 242 kilometers, with an approximate travel time of 5 hours and 5 minutes, connecting Itarsi Junction to Madan Mahal in Jabalpur. It will run via Pipariya, passing through nine intermediate stations: Bagra Tawa, Sohagpur, Pipariya, Bankhedi, Salichauka Road, Gadarwara, Kareli, Narsinghpur, and Sridham. These scheduled stoppages ensure that passengers can conveniently reach smaller towns and stations along the route, making travel more accessible and cost-effective.

Train number 51673, Itarsi-Madan Mahal Passenger, will depart from Itarsi Junction at 11:40 AM and reach Madan Mahal at 16:45 PM. The return journey, train number 51674 Madan Mahal-Itarsi Passenger, will leave Madan Mahal at 17:50 PM and arrive at Itarsi Junction at 22:55 PM. With its daily operation and efficient route, this new railway service promises to be a valuable addition to travel options in the region.
