India's youth are its biggest strength: Rahul

Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi emphasized on Saturday that India's youth represent the nation's greatest strength. Delivering a speech at the Chhatron Ki Goonj programme at KP Ground, Gandhi spoke about their pain, data, and wealth to challenge the BJP and the RSS.

The Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha highlighted India's vast youth population and the massive amount of data generated by them, stating that this data would be the key driver of the country's economy in the 21st century. He asserted that India has the youth and the maximum data in the world, leading to the conclusion that youth plus data equals the 21st century economy.

Gandhi criticized the BJP and the RSS for controlling young people's minds through a quid pro quo system, where Adani's wealth increased 30 times in the last decade, and the BJP's bank balance grew from Rs 150 crore to Rs 10,000 crore. He also pointed to the control of the system over people's thinking, with RSS functionaries present in various sectors such as bureaucracy, media, judiciary, paramilitary, universities, and colleges.

Addressing concerns about the debasement of educational credentials, Gandhi lamented that education certificates no longer guarantee job opportunities, trapping students in a cycle of expensive education, unemployment, and irregularities in exam conduct. He accused the system of closing the doors of employment, causing a decline in manufacturing, difficulties in securing loans, and job displacement due to artificial intelligence.
