Idris Deserves Second Term, Says Zuru, Urges Voters To Support Gov For Continuity

Abdullahi Zuru, the Special Adviser to Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris on Media Strategy and Communication, has declared that the governor has performed credibly well and deserves a second term in office in 2027. Zuru made the statement while answering questions from journalists who visited him. He attributed the assessment to the governor's record of delivery across key sectors since taking office in 2023.

Zuru stated that the Idris administration has prioritized the economy, infrastructure development, education, health, workers' welfare, and human capital development, all aimed at improving the lives of ordinary citizens. Infrastructure projects, including roadworks, urban renewal, and rural development programs, have been rolled out across the 21 local government areas of the state.

In education and healthcare, massive investments have been made in schools, primary healthcare centers, and the welfare of teachers and health workers. Salaries are being paid on time, and welfare is receiving serious attention. Zuru emphasized that the governor's approach to governance has restored public confidence in the administration.

He encouraged Kebbi State voters to rally behind Governor Nasir Idris ahead of the next election, urging them to support him so that the good work can continue. Zuru also criticized some politicians in the state, accusing them of lacking the pedigree to challenge the governor's record. He noted that leadership is about results, and the results are evident for all to see.

Zuru believes that with the current momentum, Kebbi is on a path of sustainable development, and continuity under the current administration remains the best option for the people of the state.
