Fadhlina hails Nadi Mahir school uniform instalment plan easing parents’ burden, empowering entrepreneurs

Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek praised the Nadi Mahir initiative, which allows parents to pay for school uniforms in installments. This program not only reduces financial strain for families but also generates income for local entrepreneurs. Fadhlina, who represents Nibong Tebal, highlighted the initiative's success, noting that it has created jobs for 120 alumni of the Nadi Mahir Jahit programme, who are now skilled entrepreneurs.

The Nadi Mahir initiative has a broad impact, supporting various community programs such as Nadi Tuisyen Rakyat, e-sports, skills training, and entrepreneurship initiatives. The Nadi Tuisyen Rakyat program has engaged over 42,000 students nationwide, with 73 from Nibong Tebal, and produced 65 top students in the 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia examination.

Fadhlina also emphasized the role of Nadi E-Sukan in nurturing talent and teamwork among young people, with notable achievements in national competitions. The initiative's focus on artificial intelligence, exemplified by the 1 Nadi 1 Prompt Engineer program, has attracted participants in Nibong Tebal, further showcasing its comprehensive impact on the community.
