Child among three people killed in Russian attacks on Ukraine

In a recent attack northeast of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, Russian strikes claimed the lives of three individuals, among them a child, according to a regional military official. The official, Tymur Tkachenko, detailed the incident on Telegram, noting that three others sustained injuries. The assault on Brovary district, located northeast of Kyiv, resulted in damaged structures and vehicles, with debris causing a fire in a non-residential building.

Ukraine's state emergency service released images of a building engulfed in flames, citing the destruction of a two-story house and two cars, along with a fire in a warehouse. An AFP reporter in Kyiv reported hearing a dozen explosions, corroborating the air force's warning about the "threat of ballistic weapon use from the north."

Additionally, four people were wounded in overnight attacks within the city. Kyiv's military administration issued an air raid alert due to the utilization of ballistic missiles, advising citizens to seek shelter.
