ATM Madrid Lee Kang-in, ahead of his first appearance "I will show 120%"

Atletico Madrid's key player Lee Kang-in (25) expressed his determination ahead of his team debut, saying, "I will give it my all, 120% of my abilities." Lee Kang-in attended a press conference with coach Diego Simeone at the '2026 Coupang Play Series' friendly match between AT Madrid and Manchester City (9th, 8pm, Seoul World Cup Stadium) held at Mokdong Comprehensive Sports Complex in Seoul on the 8th.

Lee Kang-in said, "I have seen this club (AT Madrid) a lot since I was young, and I know how great it is. Lee Kang-in, who spent his youth years in the Spanish league, transferred from Paris Saint-Germain to AT Madrid last month with a transfer fee of 35 million euros, plus an option of 5 million euros, totaling 40 million euros (approximately 67.1 billion won). After the transfer, he received the number 7 jersey, which is the number worn by the team's core players.

Lee Kang-in said, "I know that there are many legends and good players who have worn the number 7, but I don't think about that too much. Instead, I think about how I can help the team."

He emphasized, "I am a player who always thinks about improving and developing. I have improved in all areas, whether it was at Paris Saint-Germain or the Korean national team.
