Search underway for former Dragon5 singer missing in Nonthaburi

Nonthaburi — On August 6, 2026, a search operation commenced for 46-year-old singer Thaman Taypun, a former Dragon5 band member, who disappeared after leaving his home in Nonthaburi. Known as Tay, Thaman rode his bicycle from his Bang Kruai district residence at roughly 04:00. His girlfriend later reported him missing to Bang Kruai police, expressing concern for his safety.

JS100 radio reported that Thaman stands 185 centimeters tall. The last evidence of his whereabouts was a CCTV image showing him riding a cream-colored bicycle towards the Rama VII Bridge. At the time, he was clad in cycling attire, holding a black backpack, and without a helmet. He had left behind his mobile phone and wallet, according to the missing-person announcement.

Anyone with information regarding Thaman's whereabouts is urged to contact JS100 at 1808 or 1137. His girlfriend, identified as 42-year-old Walaiphan Srinasaphan, revealed the situation was atypical. Walaiphan noted Thaman typically carried his phone while cycling and returned to their home shortly after. She stated she had contacted his friends but none had seen him. Consequently, she filed a report with the police to aid in locating her boyfriend.
