Razali letak jawatan ketua Bersatu Terengganu

Pahang state assemblyman Razali Idris has announced his resignation as the chief of Bersatu Terengganu, following his completion of various party tasks at the district level. The announcement was made alongside two other district leaders in Terengganu. The party's Exco in Terengganu forwarded a notification of his resignation to Bersatu's President, Muhyiddin Yassin on July 16th, but did not disclose the reason for his resignation, which he has held since 2010.

"As of now, the party's senior officials, including Muhyiddin, have not confirmed or made a decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of his resignation," he said, according to Berita Harian after attending an event in Lubuk Batu village, Marang, last night. Razali stated that he will relinquish his position as chief of Bersatu Marang in the middle of next month after completing various party tasks at the district level.

He remains a member of Bersatu despite relinquishing two district-level and state positions. Similarly, Pahang's Telemong assemblyman, Zawawi Ismail, and Hulu Besut assemblyman, Husaimi Hussin, also announced their resignations as party chiefs of Bersatu Terengganu. It is understood that the Deputy Chief of Bersatu Terengganu, Khazan Che Mat, will also be relinquishing his position.

"I joined Bersatu in 2016 at Razali's invitation, so what more do I need to hold the position?" he said, adding that he is also the chief of Bersatu Kuala Nerus and the deputy speaker of Terengganu's State Legislative Assembly.
