Patchbay Band to share their story on E Vibes this August

Patchbay Band, a celebrated live music ensemble hailing from Ghana, is set to appear on E Vibes this August. The program aims to delve into the band's inspiring journey and contributions to Ghana's vibrant music scene. Much like a patchbay in a recording studio, Patchbay Band serves as the connector, integrating diverse instruments, hardware, and signals into a harmonious musical sound.

Formed in 2008 by Philip Acquah, the bassist and music director, the Accra-based band is celebrated for its unique fusion of traditional Ghanaian highlife with jazz, blues, and indie rock. Throughout their career, Patchbay Band has delivered numerous memorable performances at venues like the +233 Jazz Bar, served as the backing group for the Ghana Music Awards, and shared the stage with notable artists such as Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Wiyaala.

Their original songs, including "3y3 Life" and "Sanbra," further attest to their artistic prowess. Joining them on JoyNews this Saturday, 15th August, at 4:00 pm (with repeats on Sunday at 10:30 am and Friday at 6:30 pm), the band will share their compelling story on E Vibes. Additionally, the program will air on JoyPrime on Saturday, 15th August at 4:30 pm.
