Palworld 1.0 Showed Me Why Everyone Loves Survival Games

Survival games have long been a hit among gamers, but I've never found them to be enjoyable for long. Typically, I'd stumble into the game, overwhelmed by complex systems, and eventually lose interest. When Palworld 1.0 garnered rave reviews, I decided to give the genre another chance, and I'm glad I did. Palworld's gentle introduction to its gameplay mechanics allowed me to understand the appeal that so many others have discovered.

I appreciated that new players begin by completing missions that walk them through the game's various systems. I learned how to gather wood to craft a bench, how to create a club for hunting Pals, and how to construct a camp and a house. Setting up a camp and building a house led me deeper into the game world, where I enjoyed the thrill of soaring off cliffs like in Zelda and battling Pals with my trusty spheres. The game's mechanics kept me engaged and eager to learn more.

I'm still far from being a formidable force, as I couldn't defeat the game's first boss alone. However, those initial missions provided me with a crucial understanding of the gameplay elements I could explore further as I leveled up. With a vast world to discover, numerous Pals to catch, and a base to build, I'm thoroughly enjoying my time in Palworld.
