Iran President met a 'voice in the dark', isn't sure it was Supreme Leader Mojtaba

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian reportedly met with a mysterious figure introduced as Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei in a secretive encounter in Tehran. The meeting, described as lasting only a few minutes, occurred inside a dark, tinted-window vehicle where the two men could not see each other. Pezeshkian was taken there after repeatedly insisting on a meeting and threatening to resign.

The leader's office initially agreed to the meeting but kept it undisclosed, leading to Pezeshkian questioning whether the voice he heard belonged to the new supreme leader. Officials in the president's office said he later expressed doubts about the encounter, feeling humiliated by the lack of visible interaction. Khamenei, who took over as Iran's top leader five months ago, has rarely been seen in public, prompting speculation and conspiracy theories about his whereabouts and health.

Despite the ongoing uncertainty, Khamenei has continued to issue written statements and remains influential within the Iranian government.
