Düsseldorf – The DAX index, a key indicator of German stock market performance, remains stable without any significant fluctuations. On Friday morning, the DAX was trading at 26,360 points, marking a 0.8% increase above the previous day's close. The index ended trading on Thursday at 26,140 points, remaining almost unchanged. Market analyst Martin Utschneider from Robomarkets suggests that the lack of upward momentum in yesterday's trading session can still be considered constructive, as it indicates that consolidation at high levels might continue initially.

Utschneider also notes that there is no evidence of significant selling pressure or a sustained trend reversal at the moment, which implies that the upward trend remains intact. However, with the recent rally, the seasonal summer weakness during the months of August and September will inevitably come into focus for investors, predicts Frank Sohlleder from Aktivtrades. Despite this, the fact that the DAX is holding above the 26,000-point mark is a positive sign.
