This service, offered in partnership with Bounce, helps Airbnb users find locations to store their bags before or after check-in. Chesky acknowledged that the launch of luggage storage and rental cars were unexpected, but they have turned out to be revenue drivers for the platform.

He also mentioned that the average car rental lasts longer than the average Airbnb stay, contributing to the success of these services. Chesky believes these added services make users more likely to book a home or hotel through Airbnb, leading to a pipeline of more services in the future. Airbnb's earnings beat on Thursday contributed to a 10% jump in the stock price during after-hours trading.
