Carson Beck Reacts to Cardinals Debut Performance in HOF Game

Rookie quarterback Carson Beck took the field in his Arizona Cardinals debut, albeit in a preseason game, and showcased his abilities. As the starting quarterback, Beck led his team on a 96-yard touchdown drive in the first half. After the game, Beck expressed his excitement about playing again, stating, "Since last night, when I was laying in bed, I could barely sleep, thinking about having the opportunity to play football again.

Just never taking it for granted." Beck, who had to recover from injuries and surgery, emphasized his gratitude for the opportunity to play. Beck, a third-round pick, completed 14 of 19 passes for 188 yards in his debut, including the game-winning drive. Despite a strong performance, the Cardinals ultimately lost to the Panthers.

However, Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur was proud of Beck's debut and noted it as a "good, good first stepping stone." With Beck currently third on the depth chart, the Cardinals have upcoming preseason games against the Las Vegas Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, and the Packers before starting their regular season on Sept. 13 at the Los Angeles Chargers.
