In the latest episode of "Stuart Fails to Save the Universe," Melissa Rauch, best known for her role as Bernadette on "Big Bang Theory," delivers a larger-than-life performance as the 4'10½" sorceress. Initially, Rauch believed her guest role would involve minimal physical work due to motion-capture technology, but she soon learned she would be donning a motion-capture suit and stomping through a miniature Pasadena.

The actress was thrilled to learn she would portray an 80-foot-tall Bernadette, a height she had always aspired to. Her transformation began when Stuart and Kripke sought her assistance in tracking down a sorceress to fix a quantum interference device, leading to Bernadette's involvement in a battle for control of the device. Rauch's excitement extended beyond her towering presence; she relished the opportunity to interact with miniature versions of the cast and explore the miniature city.

The actress, whose voice inspired Bernadette's, prepared for her role by calling her mother on the drive to set and watching clips from the original sitcom.
