AIA Leads MDRT Rankings for 12 Years

For an impressive 12 years, AIA Group has held the top position in the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) market, a distinguished league within the global insurance and financial services sector. Recently, AIA Life revealed that AIA Group achieved a milestone of 16,228 MDRT members, surpassing the world's No. 1 record. This impressive figure marks a 34.2% increase from last year's 225 members.

AIA Premier Partners saw a significant surge in numbers, with 302 members, a 34.2% rise compared to 225 in the previous year. The focus of this success has been on qualitative growth rather than mere expansion. Notably, there were 35 Court of the Table (COT) members, who surpassed the MDRT requirements threefold, a 45.8% increase from the prior year.

Additionally, there were six Top of the Table (TOT) members, achieving the top-tier status more than six times the requirement, a 50% growth rate. The workforce structure's health was also evident, with First Timers, those newly qualified this year, representing 36% of the total, showcasing an active influx of new talent. Meanwhile, 24 veteran experts, who maintained their qualifications for over a decade, contributed to a stable balance between experienced and new professionals.

Age-wise, the distribution was balanced with 23% in their 30s, 33% in their 40s, and 32% in their 50s and older. AIA Group attributes this success to their 'Premier Agency' strategy, emphasizing that MDRT is a crucial indicator of advisory capabilities backed by customer trust. Kong Taesig, CEO of AIA Premier Partners, stated, "MDRT is a key indicator that shows advisory capabilities based on customer trust," and added, "We will support a better life for our customers by creating an environment where the best experts can grow."
